Vesper Public Relations. Los Angeles, CA – One of the most prolific singer-songwriters in alternative Latin music, Cuevo Pérez, premieres his new single titled “Misty” along with a music video recorded in Southern California.

A native of Acapulco, Mexico and currently living in Chicago, IL, Cuevo Pérez is capable of articulating a discourse between spaghetti western, blues and lo-fi folk, under a very original, unique, dark and poetic style. His music evokes a whirlpool of emotions, from romance to melancholy, leading to introspection, a constant in his work.

Cuevo Pérez, the self-proclaimed bohemian, poet, dreamer, and melody maker, has performed on legendary stages such as CBGB’S (New York), The Fillmore (San Francisco), The Whisky, House of Blues and The Roxy (Los Angeles), The Belly Up Tavern (San Diego), The Black Box (Tijuana), EL CHOPO and Foro Alicia (Mexico City). He has also shared the stage with big stars such as Juanes, Zoe, Mikel Erentxun, Rúben Albarrán, Dug Dugs, Nacho Vegas, La Ley, Kinky, Ozomatli, Draco Rosa, Maldita Vecindad, and many more.

In his music you hear “state-of-the-art tones that range across subgenres of rock and roll. Imagine a Latin The Wallflowers playing against a freshly polished disco ball lowering for the end of dusk at an effortlessly well-behaved celebration for maturing rolling stones.”
