RACINE – Police in Racine are looking for a man who reportedly walked away from a group home without a coat or shoes.
Police said Ruben Santos, 57, was last seen Saturday around midnight at a group home located at 5532 Byrd Avenue.
They said he suffers from a severe brain injury and has a diminished mental capacity.
Police said Santos was wearing sweatpants or pajama bottoms and a white T-shirt but did not have shoes or a jacket when he was last seen.
He is described as Puerto Rican, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds.
Santos only speaks Spanish and has no history of violence or aggressive behavior.
Investigators said anyone who sees Santos should call 911 immediately. Anyone with information about him should call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at 262-635- 7756.
