MILWAUKEE, WI (August 16, 2021) – Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF), producer of Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance, announced today that it is increasing the wages for most seasonal workers by $2.00 – $3.50 per hour, effective August 15, 2021. Employees can earn between $14 – $23 per hour. This move is being made to retain and attract the best in the event business for upcoming concerts, events, and Summerfest. The wage increase will be for most current and new employees, except for those who receive gratuities.
All departments are currently hiring, but help is needed especially in the following areas:
Admissions
Beverage Operations
Facilities and ground operations
Security

Entrance protocols will be in place for MWF-produced concerts, as well as Summerfest. All employees, vendors and fans must show a vaccination card, or proof of negative COVID-19 test, within 72 hours. MWF will provide access to testing for all employees who require a test.
