Kenosha Unified Plan for Worst-Case Scenario

While some legislators continue to push to restore school funding cut in Gov. Scott Walker’s proposed budget, Kenosha Unified School District is preparing for the worst.

The governor’s budget plan would cut $3.3 million from Unified’s state aid package. Superintendent Sue Savaglio-Jarvis said the district is preparing a preliminary budget including those cuts, saying budget cuts will not directly affect programs for kids.
