Kenosha County monitoring birds for West Nile Virus

With mosquito season in full bite, Kenosha County health officials are continuing their surveillance of birds that have died in the area following a positive test for West Nile Virus of a crow reported earlier this week in neighboring Racine County.

Thus far, no birds have tested positive for the mosquito-borne virus in Kenosha County, officials said Wednesday.
