Kenosha County Board supervisors backed the Foxconn deal this past week, approving a resolution calling for the state Legislature to approve the incentive plan to bring the tech giant to southeastern Wisconsin.
The board voted to suspend its rules of order to vote on the resolution without sending it to committee. Supervisors John Franco, Leah Blough and Dayvin Hallmon voted against. Supervisors John O’Day and Jill Gillmore were absent.
The state Assembly is expected to vote on the tax incentive package Thursday.
Kenosha County financial consultant Mike Harrigan recommended approval.
