Residents will be able to meet with representatives from a wide range of services at one location during the Spring Community Job and Resource Fair.
The free event will be held Saturday, May 31stfrom 10 am to 3 pm at Journey House located at 21st and Scott Street in Milwaukee. It is the 8thannual event coordinated by the Social Development Commission (SDC) this year in partnership with Journey House. It is designed to bring together a variety of programs and resources in one place for the convenience of interested residents.
This year’s Job and Resource Fair will provideaccess to employers who are hiring, job training opportunities, on-site health screenings, financial education, housing resources, educational opportunities, and public safety resources. The Milwaukee County Child Support Debt Reduction office will have staff on site as will the Driver’s License Recovery Program.
The SDC Spring Community Job and Resource Fair is free and open to the public.
