Milwaukee Saturday,

In a matter of hours, you can become a hero to people across our community.

Zero2Hero is an accelerated Red Cross training program that brings together the Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteer application, orientation and training into a single day format.

There is mounting need as winter approaches. Winter tends to be the busiest season for home fires in Milwaukee and Milwaukee County (on average, one per day). You’ll join a team of compassionate, dedicated volunteers ready to take on this challenge in Milwaukee.

In preparation, we’re looking to bring on new Disaster Action Team volunteers like you, interested in helping people in crisis across the city and county.

After one full-day training on Saturday – you’ll be ready to join our team of volunteers helping people in crisis from a home fire, flood or other every day disaster. We’ll also keep the energy levels high with meals and refreshments throughout the day.

Join Us!
