Public Job Fair was Held at MATC’s Oak Creek Campus

A free, public job fair titled “Growing the Local Workforce” was held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Oak Creek Campus, 6665 S. Howell Ave. Approximately 65 Milwaukee-area employers, in fields ranging from health care to manufacturing, participated. The goal of the job fair was to feature employers who are committed to offering opportunities, training and education to help their employees transition from entry-level into more advanced positions. Sponsors include the MATC JOBshop, MATC’s Workforce Solutions, Employ Milwaukee and the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce.
