A Kenosha Police officer used a squad car at low speed to push down a man armed with two knives early Wednesday who had repeatedly ignored officers’ commands to drop the weapons he was holding.
As he fell, the man dropped a knife and box cutter he had been holding and was immediately taken into custody.
Lt. Tim Schaal said the incident began with a series of unsettling calls to 911 just after midnight.
A man called dispatchers several times in quick succession, saying things like “I’ll take another one out” and “One wasn’t good enough.”
