Kenosha police on Tuesday continued to investigate gunfire that struck a home in the 6700 block of 24th Avenue late Monday.

No one was injured when shots were fired in the incident that was reported around 9 p.m., according to Sgt. Dan Cooper of the Kenosha Police Department. Officers arrested a 22-year-old Kenosha man in connection with the incident, however, and recommended charges of obstructing.

According to Cooper, officers were called to the area where shots were fired and when they arrived they also heard the gunfire.

Officers set up a perimeter and also employed a K-9 unit to conduct the investigation on scene. During a foot chase they later found the man who they said fled the area and located him underneath a van that was parked about a block away.
