Mark Honadel who resigned recently. Assembly District 21 candidates on the ballot were Elizabeth Coppola on the Democratic side, and Jessie Rodriguez for the Republican side. News reports state that a woman has never represented the 21st Assembly District.
The 21st Assembly District consists of 87% White voters. South Milwaukee is a city of 21,000, generally Democratic-leaning in its voting on state and federal elections. Oak Creek, a city of about 35,000, is another suburban bluecollar community.
