The day before, He will clinician with KUSD middle and high school orchestra students, traveling to each school for smaller group sessions. Saturday during the day, he brings all the students together, culminating with a final concert at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5 at the door. Reuther auditorium is locatedat 913-57th St. A highly sought after teacher, Jesus Florido has travels the world teaching in places such as Brazil, Spain, France and Japan. In our own country he has shared the stage with many internationally known artists such as Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and the band Moody Blues. Besides classical, his style of alternative music includes fiddle, jazz, rock and afro-cuban. Jesus will be performing selections from various artists as well as a few original pieces of his own work. Yearly, KOB strives to bring world renowned artists to teach our very own students. This great opportunity is achieved by various fundraising efforts, grant writing and donations.
