Milwaukee, WI – T-Mobile operated by Wireless Vision, LLC will have employees from around the country in Milwaukee on Tuesday, August 20 to help children at COA Youth & Family Centers prepare for back to school. Through a partnership made possible by the Volunteer Center of Greater Milwaukee – a service of the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee Inc. – T-Mobile volunteers will distribute 225 free backpacks and school supplies to children and teens at COA Youth & Family Centers from 8:00 am – 1:00pm at COA’s Riverwest Center (909 E. Garfield Avenue).
The volunteers will also spend time engaging with children participating in COA’s summer day camps and helping with beautification projects at COA’s Riverwest Center that day.
“We are grateful to the many organizations who generously donate their time and resources to help the 16,000 children and families served by COA Youth & Family Centers to learn, grow, and achieve long-term success,” said COA Executive Director Thomas P. Schneider. “Donations such as this will help some of Milwaukee’s most vulnerable children achieve academic success both this year and for years to come. Thank you, Wireless Vision!”
