Dos títulos históricos en el espacio de dos meses. Juan Sebastián Cabal y Roberto Farah se consagraron el viernes campeones del US Open, la primera dupla sudamericana que conquista el título del torneo. Los primeros cabeza de serie, doblegaron 6-4, 7-5 al binomio conformado por el español Marcel Granollers y el argentino Horacio Zeballos. “Todo esto es maravilloso”, resumió Cabal. “Si me decías hace tres meses que esto iba a pasar no te creía”. Asombrado por la magnitud de tener otro campeón en sus manos, Cabal añadió: “Es muy loco lo que está pasando”.
