Milwaukee – WTSJ announces its newest media affiliate Azteca-America a national Spanish network features programming that includes weekend broadcasts of Mexican soccer matches, family game shows, reality, drama series, telenovelas, national and international news .  Regular series airing on the network include the “Caught-on-Tape”-focused newsmagazine Al Extremo (“The Extreme”),  the 7pm family hour, La Hora Ganadora (“The Winning Hour”) and local show Hoy Wisconsin Today.

“We’re looking forward to working with our local media partners to help us bring Azteca-America to the Wisconsin market.  Our commitment to the Latino community of Wisconsin will increase our viewership and our presence to local businesses in the area”, said WTSJ-38 Program Director Mariella-Godinez Munoz.

Miranda said the TV station will carry Azteca programming and plans are to begin producing local community announcements, talk shows and community activities.
