My name is Willie Jude II, and I am honored to serve as the new Milwaukee Public Schools Foundation Executive Director.  As a Milwaukee native and a graduate of three MPS schools (and proud Madison Knight!), this work is personal for me. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the very institution that helped shape the person I am today. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to advancing the missions of academic institutions while nurturing a culture of community philanthropy. Milwaukee Public Schools played a pivotal role in my journey, and now, I’m excited to play a role in shaping its future.

I firmly believe that ensuring equitable access to a high-quality education for all students is not just important but imperative. To achieve this, it is crucial that we establish a vibrant culture of philanthropy. This culture will be the driving force behind improving the quality of all Milwaukee Public Schools, focusing on a well-rounded education that encompasses experiential learning, the arts, athletics, support for teachers, and community engagement initiatives. The legacy of academic excellence, community impact, and successful alumni within the Milwaukee Public Schools district is a testament to what we can achieve together. By collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, we can create a strong network of support for our schools. Together, we can ensure that every student receives the resources and opportunities they need to thrive both academically and holistically.

WE will make a meaningful difference through educational philanthropy! When we unite, the impact of our shared commitment to student and educator empowerment will shape a brighter future for generations to come. I am eager to hear your thoughts and ideas as we work together to enhance the educational landscape in Milwaukee.
