Milwaukee, Wis. –Team Certified Promotions, a boxing team from Milwaukee, WI, announces a night of fights to be held on March 30, 2019, at the Madrigrano Marina Shores, a 1500-seat banquet hall and event space located on the shores of Lake Michigan at 302 58th St in Kenosha.
Team Certified boxers Jose Rodriguez (flyweight), Kevin Garduno (super lightweight) and Julio Garcia (bantamweight) will be among the featured boxers. The event will showcase a minimum of eight matches for the evening, including a title fight in which Rodriguez will defend his ABO flyweight title belt.
Team Certified Promotions gained national attention in 2017 with a fight between Rodriguez and Nico Hernandez, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist in boxing. British media have focused international attention on the company via interviews with Intu Boxing TV, which “cover[s] the latest news, results, and reaction from fights around the globe,” and with Louis Theroux, BBC documentarian and director of television series that include “LA Stories,” “Altered States” and “Dark States.”
Most recently, the American Boxing Organization has nominated Team Certified Promotions for 2018 Promoter of the Year. The winner of the award will be announced on April 8, 2019, at a ceremony in Galveston, TX.
