KENOSHA — Officials say the body found in a Kenosha County cornfield on Saturday, September 26th is believed to be that of 37-year-old Tywon Anderson.

The man’s body was found in a cornfield off Highway A.

Anderson was reported missing a week earlier — on September 19th.

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department is calling the death suspicious.

Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth believes Anderson had been dead for seven days before he was found.

“At this point we`re calling it a suspicious death and we`d like to talk to these people of interest to see I they have any more as to what exactly occurred at the scene. We know that the circle that he hangs around with does get involved in illegal activity,” Sheriff Beth said.

Anderson’s family members say he was a father of six.

Anyone who knows what happened or has information that could help investigators is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 262-656-7333 or the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.
