Store can fully reopen post-salmonella outbreak

The Kenosha County Health Department has cleared Los Corrales to fully reopen, after investigating a salmonella outbreak traced back to the store’s pork carnitas.

The Health Department said 70 people were sickened in the outbreak that started Mother’s Day weekend. They have worked with the store owner to bring it back to full operation, including the prepared hot foods.
