RACINE — Two employees have been removed from a school in Racine following a disturbing case involving kindergartners simulating sex acts, Fox 6 News is reporting. Racine Unified School District took action just days after FOX6 News aired an exclusive report about the incident.

A Racine Unified School District elementary school student grandmother was shocked after she found what was happening in her grandson’s classroom.

“There was a number of children suspended for some inappropriate sexual behavior,” the grandmother, who did not want to be identified, told FOX6.

Simulated sex acts between male and female kindergarten students took place at a coatroom adjacent to the students’ learning space. One student told officials it happened “every day”.

“I was shocked! And disappointed that it would happen in the school,” the grandmother said.

Family members and other sources have confirmed to FOX6 News the teacher in that classroom and the school’s principal have been removed from the district.

A substitute is currently acting as principal.

Racine Unified School District Board of Education went into a closed-door executive session days after FOX6 News aired their report, in order to address “a personnel matter.”

Family members tell FOX6 News the students in the classroom all received counseling.

A Racine Unified School District spokeswoman told Fox 6 News that she could not comment on this matter because it is a personnel issue.

FOX6 News is not naming the school to protect the identities of the children involved.
