MILWAUKEE – Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin (PPWI) announced the expanded availability of birth control and other family planning health care services at the health centers located at 3706 Orin Rd in Madison, and 435 S Water St in Milwaukee that previously provided abortion services. In the wake of the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, PPWI is working to ensure people have access to the health care services they need to take charge of their health.

“In addition to continuing to serve as a resource for people in need of information and resources to access abortion services, Planned Parenthood is excited to announce the expansion of family planning services to the two health centers located in Milwaukee and Madison,” said Amy Doczy, Vice President of Patient Services at Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin.

“During this time when access to abortion services is suspended, it’s more important than ever for people to have access to birth control along with the full range of sexual and reproductive health care service,” Doczy continued.

In addition to pregnancy assessment, miscarriage management and abortion navigation services, PPWI has added a range of reproductive health care services at the two health center locations for both women and men, including: breast, cervical cancer screenings, birth control, STD testing and treatment, HIV testing and education along with testicular exams and post-partum care.

“PPWI is always contemplating ways to expand our reach and meet the needs of our patients in communities across Wisconsin,” said Doczy. “At PPWI, confidential, high quality, affordable health care is our top priority. We look forward to welcoming all individuals regardless of their insurance or immigration status, gender and sexual identity,” Doczy concluded.
