WHAT:  Food insecurity impacts the lives of millions of Americans every year. Feeding America reports that 1 in 8 Americans are estimated to be food insecure. More than 10 percent of Wisconsin communities are food insecure. To work towards lowering this percentage, Molina is providing nutritious food to the local community.

Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin has partnered with the Feeding America Mobile Pantry Program to directly serve people who are facing hunger. Molina is donating food, including fruits and vegetables to the Saukville Community Food Pantry. Attendees will be able to fill a grocery bag with fruits, vegetables and other healthy foods.

The Mobile Pantry Program expands the capacity of the Feeding America network to distribute food by removing barriers that prevent access to underserved areas, and allows for fast and flexible delivery of recovered food and grocery products including meat, produce and baked goods.

This event is open to the public and media is welcome to attend.
