Cortas Vogt of Kenosha was charged Tuesday with the attempted sexual assault of a child under 16.

Vogt, 20, who is now in prison serving a sentence for another crime, was charged related to an incident that is alleged to have occurred in January 2017. According to the criminal complaint, police were called Jan. 30, 2017, to a Kenosha high school. A 15-year-old student at the school reported that two days before she had been out with another teen and Vogt and that they had driven to Racine with Vogt driving.
