Kenosha Man Arrested in

Marijuana Raid

A Kenosha man was caught growing marijuana in his home and arrested earlier this month on a multi-jurisdiction raid.

Christopher L. Pontillo, 37, was arrested Nov. 19, after the Kenosha Drug Operations Group searched his home. He is charged with manufacturing marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Anthem, UHS Finalize Three-Year Contract

A contract between a major health insurer and a local health care provider became official Tuesday.

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and United Hospital System in Kenosha formally announced the new three-year contract, which would keep the system’s doctors and facilities within the insurer’s Blue Preferred and Blue Access networks, officials said in a joint statement.
