The Central High School District ended the school year with more than $620,000 in surplus funds than it anticipated.

But, it is still not enough to erase the projected 2018-19 budget deficit.

“Even with that surplus, we are going to be dipping into the reserves,” administrator Scott Pierce said. “We are looking at a $53,000 deficit.”
