Evers Captures More than 60% of Vote

Two-term incumbent state Superintendent Tony Evers captured roughly 69 percent of the vote in the today’s state superintendent primary, according to unofficial returns.

Evers will face former Beloit superintendent Lowell Holtz in the April 4 election to be the state’s top education official. Holtz received 24 percent of the vote today while John Humphries barely registered with just 7 percent.
