RACINE — According to the Racine times, on Wednesday May 29, a 17-year-old boy was arrested at Case High School, accused in a fatal shooting near 12th and Center in Racine on May 22. He has been charged in the death of Jose Angel Padilla, 19. Deshawn Ellison faces first degree intentional homicide, and used of a dangerous weapon and Possession of a firearm by an adjudicated delinquent charge.  Another suspect, Christopher Webster, 18, faces one count of first-degree intentional homicide, as party to a crime. He also attends the same school. According to a criminal complaint, on May 22, police were dispatched to the area near 12th and Center for a report of a single shot fired. An unresponsive 19-year-old man was found on the ground near inside a home. The man passed away at the hospital as a result of a shotgun wound to his back.
