CORA Physical Therapy Expands in Wisconsin with Opening of New Location in Franklin

Franklin, Wis. – May 16, 2022 – CORA Health Services, Inc., doing business as CORA Physical Therapy (“CORA”), a top-10 national operator of outpatient physical therapy services, announced today the opening of CORA Franklin in Wisconsin. The newest addition to the company’s portfolio marks the 20th location in Wisconsin and is the first “ground-up” clinic located there.

Located at 7740 S Lovers Lane Road, Suite 410, the clinic offers treatment for general orthopedic and sports injuries, post-COVID recovery programs, pre- and post-operative care, vertigo and balance disorders, chronic pain, geriatric rehabilitation, sports medicine, and workers’ compensation.  One very special feature of the new clinic is the AlterG Anti-gravity Treadmill that leverages precision unweighting to begin post-surgery rehabilitation sooner, train through sports injuries, and promote weight control and reduction.

“As we celebrate the opening of our Franklin location, this achievement underscores the importance for us to continue making safe and personalized physical therapy services and care accessible to more communities and neighborhoods throughout the state,” said Nicole Budzien, PT, DPT, Clinic Manager of CORA Franklin.

Budzien will manage the CORA Franklin location. Budzien earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology as well as her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marquette University. She enjoys working with athletes of any age, pre & post-operative patients, and those suffering from balance impairments. Nicole’s special interests include sports, concussion management, and vestibular rehabilitation. She is certified in ASTYM and trigger point dry needling.

CORA Physical Therapy accepts patients through direct access—no referral required—for people calling or walking into the clinic seeking physical therapy services, as well as through physician referrals. With rapid scheduling, PTs can see patients in as little as 24 to 48 hours—sometimes even on the same day.

“Physical therapy is the first step on the road to recovery so those injured can return to work pain-free as soon as possible. With CORA’s expansion in Wisconsin we continue our efforts to offer direct access to the physical therapy services that Wisconsinites need,” said Carmelo Tenuta, PT, VP, Wisconsin/Illinois. “CORA excels at providing outpatient physical therapy services, specifically workers’ compensation rehabilitation services that support the injured worker.”

As with all CORA clinics, CORA Franklin is taking precautions to ensure the safety of both patients and staff, in accordance with CDC and OSHA guidelines for healthcare facilities. For patients who cannot come into the clinic, CORA also offers telehealth visits and therapy in the home to ensure continuity of treatment. CORA accepts 4,000+ insurance plans and offers payment options for patients without insurance.

A grand opening/ribbon cutting event for the new clinic is scheduled for Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 5:00-8:00 pm. The public is invited to celebrate the occasion and to experience CORA’s newest location in Wisconsin firsthand.
