City alderman: slow response time for ambulance ‘unacceptable’

Delayed response time by Kenosha Fire Department medical personnel for a possible heart attack has re-ignited the call to place an ambulance at a north side firehouse.

Fire Chief John Thomsen says it would be premature to make such a decision before the conclusion of a study by an outside consultant analyzing the city’s needs for fire and medical services.
