American Red Cross of WI is looking for Volunteers on their Disaster Action Team (DAT) which are every day heroes. They help people in Milwaukee and surrounding areas after home fires, floods and other disasters. And DAT volunteers are people just like you. You can find out the satisfaction and experiences involved with being a Disaster Action Team volunteer at their Jan. 26th “Open House.” The open house will include: * insight from other local volunteers * outlines of trainings you’ll receive * detail on the types/numbers of local disasters * stories on the people we help * fast volunteer sign-up * food and refreshments You will leave the open house informed and ready to start your rewarding Disaster Action volunteer journey. Our community will be stronger, too, with your skills and interests on this one-of-a-kind team. Join us!
