The 18th annual Latin Grammy Awards are just days away, and fans are growing anxious waiting to see who takes home some of the evening’s biggest honors.

In the category of record of the year, the Latin Recording Academy has nominated “La Flor De La Canela” (Ruben Blades), “El Surco” (Jorge Drexler), “Quiero Que Vuelvas” (Alejandro Fernández), “Despacito” (Luis Fonsi featuring Daddy Yankee), “El Ratico” (Juanes featuring Kali Uchis), “Amárrame” (Mon Laferte featuring Juanes), “Felices Los 4” (Maluma), “Vente Pa’ Ca” (Ricky Martin featuring Maluma), “Guerra” (Residente), “Chantaje” (Shakira featuring Maluma).

The award is given annually to the performers, producers, audio/mastering engineers for best new songs in Spanish or Portuguese language. Alejandro Sanz has won the most awards in the category with five wins out of nine nominations, including the award received for “La Tortura” featuring Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira. Sanz is followed by Calle 13, Juanes and Shakira with two winning songs.

With “Despacito” being the summer darling of chart-toppers and Shakira and Maluma’s “Chantaje” emerging a catchy collabo, the decision to pick a winner will be difficult to make.
