Suspect In Custody For Bike Trail Assaults

DNA evidence helped authorities arrest a man suspected of assaulting two women on the Kenosha County Bike Trail.

Reginaldo Etienne, 32, is expected to be charged Friday in Kenosha County Circuit Court with the assaults that occurred March 25 and May 21.

“I know the people in the Pleasant Prairie area and Kenosha have been on pins and needles, wondering when the next sexual assault was going to occur,” Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth said at a Thursday a news conference. “We’d like to inform them that person that committed these sexual assaults, we believe, to be in custody right now.”
