Milwaukee, WI – The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is committed to keeping our expressways safe from intoxicated drivers. On Tuesday, July 9, at 8:50 a.m., a vehicle crashed on southbound I-43 at West National Ave. MCSO Deputies arrived on scene and observed a vehicle resting on the right barrier wall. The vehicle had air bags deployed on both the driver and passenger sides. The driver of the vehicle was later identified as woman, age 31. Two minor children were also in the vehicle. Neither child was wearing a seat belt. The driver and both children were transported to a local hospital. One child was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and has since been discharged from the hospital.
