June 29-July 3 and July 5-July 10

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee’s Summerfest isn’t billed as “the world’s largest music festival” for nothing. Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials say the annual spectacular this year will be showcasing over 800 acts across 11 stages spread out over 11 days, drawing almost a million fans every year to enjoy performances by big-name acts representing all genres of music.

Scheduled performers this year include Martin Garrix, Willie Nelson, Rise Against, Passion Pit, Pit Bull, Death Cab for Cutie, Jason Derulo, Ryan Adams and Elle King.

In addition to all the fantastic music, there’s a bevy of delicious local food vendors, carnival rides, a Children’s Theater & Play zone and a brilliant fireworks display. Take a ride on the Sky Glider to get a birds-eye view of the festival, or enjoy the music from Lake Michigan’s beautiful shoreline. And because this is Wisconsin, there’s no shortage of ice-cold beer, and don’t forget to try the deep-fried cheese curds!
