Senate approves Milwaukee Bucks arena deal

The Senate approved $250 million in public subsidies for a new Milwaukee Bucks arena and passed it with a bipartisan deal early Wednesday evening.

After two days of negotiations and changes approved on a voice vote, the senate passed the bill 21-10.The legislation now goes to the Assembly.

Sen. Robert Wirch, D-Somers, voted against the bill. Sen. Van Wanggard, R-Racine, voted for the funding plan.
