BOGOTÁ — Juan Sebastián Cabal y Robert Farah fueron recibidos con honores por el presidente Iván Duque, quien los condecoró el lunes, dos días después de convertirse en los primeros tenistas colombianos en alcanzar un título en dobles de hombres en un torneo del Grand Slam. Cabal y Farah fueron recibidos en la Casa de Nariño por el mandatario, quien les entregó la Gran Cruz del Orden Nacional al Mérito. Los tenistas vencieron el sábado en la final de Wimbledon a los franceses Nicolas Mahut y Edouard Roger-Vasselin por 6-7 (5), 7-6 (5), 7-6 (6), 6-7 (5), 6-3 en un duelo que duró casi cinco horas. A su llegada a la ceremonia en la residencia oficial, ambos caminaron en medio de aclamaciones sobre una alfombra roja. El mandatario los recibió mientras la banda presidencial interpretaba el himno nacional.
