On Wednesday Feb 5, Milwaukee police Department tactical enforcement unit was executing a search warrant around 9 a.m. near 12th and Manitoba Street in the Southside of the city Milwaukee. According to the information that was release by the authorities, at 9:20 a.m. the enforcement unit made contact with two people and shots were fired. The police officer was taken to the hospital and later the authorities announced that the 35-year-old officer who is a 17-year veteran of the force has died. A 26 year old suspect was arrested and investigation continues.
