Kenosha Unified school officials have worked out a plan to dismiss Frank Elementary students safely at the end of the school day as the nearby tactical response situation continues.
District spokeswoman Tanya Ruder said parents picking up students should use the east entrance of the building and go to the gym. They them will go in groups to retrieve children from classrooms before exiting back out the east side of the building. Children who live in the neighborhood and walk to school will stay in the school with the principal until the situation is resolved. Students who ride the bus will be escorted to their buses by teachers.
