A Kenosha man accused of gunning down a man in a bank parking lot entered a not guilty plea by reason of mental disease or defect on Wednesday in court.
Rodney Coleman, 45, is charged with attempted first-degree homicide and use of a dangerous weapon for the shooting of then-25-year-old Kendall Woods on Oct. 28, 2016 outside of TCF Bank, 2020 22nd Ave.
The official plea allows the nearly two-year-old case to progress with a jury trial set to begin 8:30 a.m. Monday in front of Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge Jason Rossell.
