Kenosha, WI – Andrew Mario Obregon, 32, of Bristol, a fugitive, was arrested this week after a foot chase near Winthrop Harbor, Ill. During the chase Obregon was shot in the arm by police.

Obregon was wanted for a Kenosha County homicide.

Obregon is a suspected of killing of Tywon L. Anderson, 37, whose body was found Sept. 26 in a cornfield off County Highway A/7th St. in Paris Township.

Police report that Anderson was dead for seven days before his body was found.

Police report that Obregon beat a woman in the area of his parents’ home in the Town of Brighton and stole her vehicle before driving into Illinois.

The woman’s condition was not available.

Obregon was treated at a hospital and taken to the Lake County jail for the gun shot to his arm.

The woman he allegedly beat was flown by helicopter to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa said police.
