Molina Healthcare Offering $50 and $100 Gift Cards
Milwaukee, Wis., — Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin, in collaboration with the Milwaukee Health Department, will hold a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Milwaukee Community Resource Fair to address low vaccine participation rates in the central city.
Molina will offer $100 Visa gift cards for those receiving their first or second vaccine dose and a $50 card for those receiving their booster. The cards are available while supplies last.

Community Art Leaders Program to Unveil Latest Mural
The mural, located at 1734 W. Greenfield Ave. features a 85’x14’ that highlights a Clarke Square neighborhood that can be—a neighborhood that moves challenges of homelessness, violence and to one that is connected, healthy, and filled with vibrancy.
27th Annual Back-to-School Event – August 13
WHEN: Saturday, August 13, 9am-1pm
WHERE: King Park, 1531 W.Vliet Street.
WHAT: Milwaukee County Park’s Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Community Center and the King Advisory, Inc. will host their annual Back-To-School bag giveaway. Free breakfast, bags packed with back-to-school resources, including pencils, erasers, glue, pocket folders, and more, will be given out to up to 3,000 children, for free, at King Park.
The bags are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, youth accompanied by an adult, will need to register for a wristband between 9am-12pm, which can be redeemed for a bag starting at 12:30pm.

Wisconsin Chapter will be hosting the Milwaukee Team
Hope Walk/Run
The Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s (HDSA) Wisconsin Chapter will be hosting the Milwaukee Team Hope Walk/Run on Sunday, August 28th at 10:00 AM at Fox Brook Park in Brookfield.
Huntington’s disease is a fatal genetic disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain that is described as having ALS, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s disease all at once. Today, there are approximately 41,000 symptomatic Americans and more than 200,000 at risk of inheriting the disease.
Feed The Kids summer
meals program reaches 8th week
MILWAUKEE – The Salvation Army’s Feed the Kids program has reached its 8th week. Traditionally, lunches are served from a large traveling van and include a sandwich, a cheese stick, and 100% fruit juice. This week, as a special treat, employees will distribute hot dogs to the kids on the route.
