Pair Likely to Face Drug, Weapon Charges

Police found drugs valued at more than $10,000 and what a prosecutor called “quite the arsenal” of weapons after a months-long investigation into drug sales out of an apartment in the 4000 block of 28th Avenue.
The operation used a confidential informant, who made a series of controlled drug buys at the apartment in May, June and July. Police sent the informant to the apartment with money provided for the investigation, and instructions on what drugs to purchase. Police searched the apartment on July 23, and arrested Timothy Taylor, 35, of Kenosha, and Deshawn Coleman, 21, of Beach Park, Ill.
