Federal Labor Officials Dismiss Voces de la Frontera Led Allegations
MILWAUKEE— Federal Labor officials say Milwaukee based-Palermo’s Pizza did not manipulate an immigration audit as retaliation for workers’ efforts to form a union. A key charge made against the company by Voces de la Frontera. Voces de la Frontera had filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board. Wisconsin Student Faces Dozens of Child Assault Charges
RACINE — A Wisconsin college student is accused of molesting six young children and videotaping the assaults under such titles as “Monster Unleashed,” and police said Friday they think there are more victims. Alexander R. Richter, who attended Gateway Technical College, was jailed on 49 felony charges after authorities say he volunteered to baby-sit his classmates’ children and then repeatedly had sex with the boys and girls on camera as they cried and begged him to stop. Police said they have identified six children in videos and photographs recovered from Richter’s home in Racine, about 30 miles south of Milwaukee....
Outpost Stores Not Alone Selling Palermo’s Pizza
Milwaukee – The call for a boycott of Palermo’s pizza appears to be falling on deaf ears in Milwaukee. Recent efforts led by Voces de la Frontera to bully the Outpost food stores into stopping sales of Palermo’s pizza, netted nothing more than an acknowledgement of the issue by the worker owned organic food store chain. The Outpost stuck to its policy of not participating in the boycott, rather the store displayed information about the dispute giving their customers the option to buy Palermo’s or not....

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – A slim majority of Puerto Ricans sought to change their ties with the United States and become the 51st U.S. state in a non-binding referendum that would require final approval from Congress.
